Hermann Schlimme, Bibliotheca Hertziana, Max Planck Institute for Art History, Rome, recieved the Edoardo Benvenuto Prize 2006 for his work entitled "Between architecture, science and technology: the Accademia della Vachia in Florence, 1661-1662"

The decision of the jury was communicated on 7 november 2006.
